The Colony House
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Colony House is the welcoming focal point of Mountain Lake. Designed in 1916 by Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr., the Colony House overlooks the golf course and serves as the clubhouse and inn for Mountain Lake. The Colony House offers exceptional hospitality, a variety of activities, and gracious fine dining during the winter season, November through April.
Colony House Reservations
The Colony House has a limited number of guest rooms and demand for rooms is increasing, particularly during the peak season of January through March. Reservations can be made by telephone at (863) 679-2423, by fax

Cell Phones
The use of cellular phones in any public areas of the Colony House or Mountain Lake is prohibited except for outgoing emergency calls.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the Colony House. 
Checking In/Out
Check-in time is 2:00 pm.
Check-out time is 11:00 am.
Computer
All Colony House rooms are equipped with high speed cable and wireless internet access. A guest computer is available 24 hours a day on the 1st floor. Wireless internet is also available in the Lobby, Sun Room, TV room, and Living Room.
